Details
The design of the Pillbox Ring was inspired by the Poison Ring. Poison rings originated in ancient India and the Far East and eventually made their way to Europe. The traditional poison ring hides a very small container under a hinged lid.
With this, the designer has created the box ring in retro distressed sterling silver, making the vintage craftsmanship available again as jewelry and highlighting the texture. Each skull is hand-carved from natural pearls by a sculptor.

Bought as a gift for my daughter. Cannot wait to give it to her. I know she is going to love it!
I love this ring. Fit is perfect, the pearl has beautiful intricate details. Though I think the design is not meant to be opened, I did open it to put some vibhuti, which is sacred ash, in it. So now my ring is consecrated and holds a nice energy. Skull reminds me of death, so that I remember that Life is exhuberant, gotta live it to the fullest!
