The carving is wonderful, but the holes are drilled too low, so all the beads want to hang face up or chin up. If you want the face of the bead to be seen, you will have to wear it with the skull upside down. I'm not sure what to do with these now.

I ordered two of these little skull beads because I collect gemstone skull carvings and thought they'd be a neat addition to the collection. They are every bit as cool in person as they are in the picture, and they came in a nice secure little display box. Very detailed carving for something so tiny. It definitely takes skill to carve these. I do wish I was able to choose whether I wanted them drilled or not, I would have preferred them without the hole because I just wanted them for display. Still, they're pretty wonderful. Very unique and the light orchid color is lovely.

The detail is incredible! Each little tooth is so crisp! I've had mini skulls carved from deer antler, these are worlds better. I didn't mean to order the drill holes, but I can now attest to the quality of the holes I guess lol. 10/10, I'll probably buy them again.
